MABEL LUCIE ATTWELL

This is a handmodeled artist doll made in terracotta (Goerg & Schneider fired at 1200°) and 18 inches high seated.
Head, arms and legs are made without any mould and any aluminium foil core.
The body is a strong wire armature covered with natural hamp, and finished with white cotton stripes.
The doll is painted with fine oil colours. All clothes are hand made and embroidered by Beatrice.
She is seated on a handbuilt wooden armchair.
